How Much Does a Furnace Cost

Size of Your Home

Furnaces come in different sizes. Lennox furnace sizes range from 30K BTU to 135K BTU of gas output. The larger the home, the more BTUs of gas are required to heat it. The larger the BTU requirement, the more expensive the furnace.

Type of Furnace

Furnaces are available in a single-stage, two-stage, and variable capacities. Higher-end products are typically priced higher.

Ease of Install

Some projects require additional time and materials, which adds cost to the installation. 

For example:

1. Is new work required for furnace venting?

2. Are more thermostat wires needed? 

3. Is there a drain nearby? A condensate pump may be needed.

4. Does your system have a fresh air intake installed?
